SNS CAFÉ TOKYO

SNS CAFÉ TOKYO opened its doors in Daikanyama area, Tokyo in November 2020. It is run by the Swedish sneaker shop ‘Sneakersnstuff Tokyo’ as a place to welcome customers into their community.
The cafe interior is a playful fusion of Scandinavian and Japanese styles, complete with a gallery space for local artists to display their creations and a curated selection of books and magazines. Everything comes together to represent the world of Sneakersnstuff.
Their shelves are stocked with select items from KINTO’s CAST, HIBI, and LUCE collections. We asked Sneakersnstuff about why they chose KINTO and what the products are like to use.

- Why did you choose KINTO?
We liked the designs because they are so clean but have character. They are everyday objects, but they are not mundane – there is something just a little bit special about them. This is exactly what we wanted SNS CAFÉ TOKYO to be: a cafe that is part of our customer’s everyday lives, but a little bit special at the same time. So we felt that these vessels were perfect for Sneakersnstuff to perform. Many of our customers also appreciate the fact that it is a Japanese brand (being in Daikanyama, we get a lot of international customers).

- Why did you choose CAST and HIBI glasses? What are they like to use?
We carefully designed our interior to reflect our Swedish heritage. We chose CAST and HIBI because there is a certain warmth about the shapes that goes well with the rest of the space. Our customers often complement our glasses, which makes us very happy. The other deciding factor was their sense of stability. We liked CAST and HIBI because they are very easy to hold. Even a child can drink from the glass safely with two hands. We are very proud to be serving our specialty drinks and coffees in such beautiful glasses.
