Founded in Japan with the belief in the restorative power of camping, Snow Peak has cultivated experiences in nature for over 60 years through its heirloom quality products. KINTO is a proud partner of Takibi, located at Snow Peak's US headquarters in Portland, Oregon, where the restaurant serves quintessential Japanese dishes on our Ceramic Lab dishware. The art of slowing down and appreciating the present moment is at the heart of KINTO's ethos, which makes Snow Peak and Snow Peak a harmonious partner.
The ethos of Snow Peak is to integrate with the natural beauty of the outdoors, complimenting the environment rather than distracting from it. This comes from the Japanese practice of Noasobi - the art of being outdoors. This concept extends into Takibi, which offers foods inspired by gathering with friends around a campfire, giving friends a place to reconnect over a meal that is infused with the care, craft and quality representative of the brand's ethos.
Located about two hours away from Takibi and the Snow Peak Headquarters is Snow Peak Long Beach Campfield in Long Beach Peninsula, Washington. Opened in the summer of 2024, Long Beach Campfield is the truest expression of the brand's values. The space offers 25 expansive acres with three accommodation types (Field Site, Tent Suite and Jyubako Cabin), a fully stocked Campstore that carries an assortment of KINTO products, a Cafe and luxurious Ofuro Spa with a heated soaking pool, sauna and cold plunge.
